         Chiropractor
Duties and responsibilities: Chiropractors are health care providers who are trained to resolve problems in the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, such as headaches or pain in the back, neck or joints. They recommend rehabilitative exercises and provide dietary and lifestyle counseling, but are best known for their practice of "spinal manipulation," in which they apply force into joints that have suffered tissue injury to restore mobility.
Salary: United Sates are expected to make less than $134,941.
Education: According to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the need for chiropractors is expected to increase 20 percent from 2008 to 2018. Chiropractors are physicians who specialize in aliments and medical conditions affecting the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.




Reflection: Within the chiropractic profession, Ted Schrader, DC, FICC, is known for his leadership and his lifelong commitment to evaluating chiropractic procedures and continually improving the quality of chiropractic care. He encourages critical thinking in all those he’s met and has served the profession for more than 50 years in private practice and in various officer positions within the ACA’s Council on Technique and the California state association. In recognition of his lifetime of dedication to the chiropractic profession, ACA presented Dr. Schrader with a presidential citation earlier this year.
